Soft Pretzel Dough

1: Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar, and set aside until the mixture bubbles.

2: In another bowl, mix flour and salt.

3: Slowly add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture until a dough forms.

4: If the dough is too sticky, add more flour as necessary.

5: Roll the dough into a 24-inch rope.

6: Brush the pretzel with the beaten egg and sprinkle with toppings.

7: Place pretzels on a prepared baking sheet.

8: Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes or until nicely browned.
