Peach Loaf

1: Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9x5 loaf pan, lining it with parchment paper.

2: Cream together the brown sugar and butter in a stand mixer until light and fluffy for about 5 minutes.

3: Beat in the eggs one by one, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Mix for another 2-3 minutes.

4: Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices and add them to the mixer alternately with the buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix by hand to combine thoroughly without over-beating.

5: Fold in the peaches that have been dusted with flour.

6: Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly and sprinkle the top lightly with sparkling sugar.

7: Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until risen and a toothpick comes out clean.

8: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it with parchment paper.

9: Slice while warm or allow it to cool completely.
