This Cowboy Candy features sweet, candied jalapeños that can be enjoyed straight from the jar or used to spice up various dishes. What you need

lb jalapeno

cup water

cup granulated sugar
tsp ground turmeric

tsp garlic powder

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp mustard seed

tsp celery seed
Instructions
1: In a pot, combine the vinegar, water, sugar, and spices. 2: Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes. 3: Add the sliced jalapeños to the pot. 4: Increase the heat, bring back to a boil, and simmer for 6 minutes. 5: Using a slotted spoon or tongs, divide the jalapeños evenly among 6 (8oz) jars. 6: Pour the syrup over the jalapeños, ensuring they are fully covered. 7: Wipe the rims of the jars, then seal them with lids. 8: Store in the refrigerator.
