1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2: Spray bundt pan with nonstick baking spray.
3: In a large bowl, stir together cake mix, eggs, oil, and almond extract just until incorporated.
4: Fold in cherries.
5: Bake for 35 minutes.
6: Cool for 15 minutes and invert onto cake plate.
7: Cool cake completely for approximately 2 hours.
8: Heat heavy cream and butter in a small saucepan over low heat until butter melts and cream is warm.
9: Add chocolate chips to a nonreactive bowl.
10: Pour warm milk mixture over chocolate chips until chips are melted.
